Starfish Trelawny boasts an impressive 350 rooms, inclusive of 40 pool & garden cottages. Our Majestic main building houses four towers each with impressive ocean, mountain, pool and garden views. Tower rooms are divided into two categories: Standard and Superior, with a maximum of two adults and one child to each. While our more spacious Cottages accommodate a maximum of four persons: 2 adults and 2 children OR 3 adults and 1 child OR 3 adults maximum.

Dining

Starfish Trelawny offers five dining options with even the most eccentric traveler in mind. From Hot Dogs and Hamburgers to Tepanyaki and our world famous Jerk Pork, our dining outlets are bound to please your eager taste buds.

Buffet style breakfast, lunch, dinner or even a midnight snack is offered in the Starfish Buffet. This open-air restaurant is draped in the back with majestic coconut palms, fruitful mango trees and lush bamboo reeds, gaily dancing in the cool island breeze. Our open-air kitchen gives you the opportunity to have your meals cooked to order as our award winning chefs aim to please and pamper. Casual dress or beachwear (with appropriate cover up) is acceptable! Continental breakfast served at 6:00 am daily. Full breakfasts from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. Lunch 12:30 to 2:30 daily. Dinner served 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm nightly except Thursdays. Late night snacks are available 11 pm to 1 am nightly.

Choices of four-course dinners are available six evenings per week in one of three A La Carte Restaurants – Casablanca, Munahana or Giuseppe.

Casablanca serves a la carte four-course gourmet dinners in Caribbean and Mediterranean cuisine. Casablanca is open every night except Tuesdays, 6:30pm – 11:00pm. Children under 14 not allowed. Semi-formal Dress code is enforced. Reservations required. Surcharges are applicable on some menu items.

Why not journey with us to the orient? Our Japanese Restaurant – Munahana will undoubtedly have you completely submerged into this culture. The restaurant offers from sushi to sake and herbal teas to Tepanyaki and will have you in awe as your food is prepared for you, before your very eves, by your own personal chef! Munahana is opened six evenings per week: Friday – Wednesday; 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm. A surcharge of US$15 for Tepanyaki and US$12 for the Sushi Bar applies at this restaurant.

Or if you still want to travel, lets venture into Italy and sink your teeth into sumptuous Italian Culinary Magic. Welcome to the Giuseppe! Pasta, Pizza or Tiramisu, our chefs prepare all meals with a Jamaican Flavor and our hosts/hostesses serve it with the warm Jamaican Hospitality. Giuseppe is open everyday between 6:30pm and 10:30pm. A US$6 per person supplemental charge applies at this restaurant.

If however you prefer something simple, we invite you to join us at the Seashell Bar and Grill. Located on the main pool deck (next to the beach), indulge in an extended breakfast menu (10:30 am – 12:30 pm), Jerk Pork/Chicken, Hot Dog, Hamburger, Ice Cream, Sodas, Juices … Seashell Bar and Grill is open everyday between 10:30 am and 6:30 pm

Sports and Activities

Starfish Trelawny boasts 4 swimming pools. Our adults only Seashell Pool has a swim up bar, built in seats and cocktail tables and houses our 83’ long adult water slide. The pool sits invitingly on a deck with swaying palms and hosts our signature Starfish fold water Jacuzzi.The Sports Pool is just that – a pool for sporting events. This pool is where all the adrenaline-filled action takes place.

Whether it is water aerobics, volleyball, basketball or water polo, you are bound to get caught up in its’ hypnotic trance! For fun and frolic and a good work out, this is the one area where there is nonstop action.

Our Family Pool, the largest of the four is not only mesmerizing, it is breathtaking! For the entire family, the pool sits regally on the deck where you can relax in the afternoon island sun and soak up all that is happening around you. Take a dip with the kids and splash yourself into their heart! Perhaps the one pool that will garner everybody’s attention will be our Kids’ Pool. This pool will undoubtedly have the kids screaming with glee. With a 124’ long waterslide, an aqueduct shooting water into the pool and a fountain that sprays streams of water into the air, this pool holds the magic that will bring you back.

Water Sports Included

All non-motorized water sports activities are included in your package and you don’t have to pay extra like at most resorts. Frolic in our crystal blue waters while you sail, windsurf, snorkel or go kayaking! If you have never tried any of these or your not an expert, don’t worry, even instruction is included! For those of you that are thrill seekers and aren’t satisfied with the power of the wind, you wont be left out. Scuba Diving, water skiing, parasailing, banana boat rides, snorkeling trips and jet skiing are available at an additional cost.

Tennis And Badminton

Four tennis courts and a badminton court, all lit for night play are at your disposal. We have international instructors who are here just to teach you everything about the sport! Lessons and competitions are offered throughout the day (Monday to Saturday) between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

Hotel Services

Rock Climbing, Trapeze and Trampoline

Rock climbing wall: US$3.00 per person, per climb.
Trapeze: US$3.00 per person, per swing.
Trampoline: US$3.00 per person, per jump.

Other charges: spa, tours, motorized water sports, golf at Ironshore, games arcade and slot machines, nanny services (available from 6:00pm-11:00pm at a surcharge of US$5.00 per hour.)

Spas

Pamper yourself in our fully equipped spa treatment facility. Release your mind, body, stress and soul and live like the gods of the Roman Empire! We offer full body massages, facials, reflexology, manicure, pedicure, hair treatment, body scrubs, seaweed and Spanish needle treatments. Prices and detailed information are available at the spa. Our friendly spa personnel will make every
detail available to you, upon your request.

Children's Center

Kids are the most important part of the magic! Kids bring with them a special kind of magic and we love to see the smiles on their faces when they see all we have in store for them. Our supervised Kids Club is available for a small daily fee and includes endless activities that will have your children going from morning yawn time! In addition we offer, water sports, pools, slides, circus, tennis, basketball, beach and private theme parties, tennis, games, and contests!

If you would like to dine alone to renew and rekindle the romance in your life, babysitting is offered after 5:00pm and a charge is applicable. All you need to do is inform us at the hotel whenever you request this service and we will take care of everything else!

All activities are supervised by our highly trained staff that place emphasis on fun, entertainment, education. And while the kids are off playing, you have the opportunity to party hearty and boogie-woogie! Starfish Trelawny is kids friendly and no other resort does it quite so good. And if you think that is all, you’ll just love our extra low child rates.

The kid’s activities program is carried out in the following age range: 0 – 2 years, 3 – 7 years, 8 – 12 years and teens! Your children will not be left out. There is something for all ages!! Facilities and personnel are available to ensure a pleasurable vacation for both parents and children. Our relaxed atmosphere and casual dress requirements cater to all, while activities at our pool, beach and spacious grounds keep them busy in a safe and natural environment. Nanny service is available at a nominal charge. A special children's entertainment program is available at the Kid's Center, open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at US$5.00 per child , per day.

Conference Facilities

Our “Great Hall” seats 1000 persons (theatre style) and a boardroom that holds 25 persons (Theatre style) are available for rental for private parties, weddings, conferences and meetings.

* Some surcharges apply. At Casablanca Restaurant, there is a surcharge on some menu items. At Giuseppe Restaurant, there is a US$6.00 per person surcharge. At Munahana Restaurant, there is a US$15 surcharge for Tepanyaki and a US$12 surcharge for the Sushi Bar. After hours babysitting services are available at US$5 per hour (up to 2 children) for a minimum of four (4) hours, payable locally (a days' noctice is required).
